She will present a lecture performance titled “Komungo abroad in the digital age: No boundary between ancient and contemporary”. It is a multimedia performance incorporating the electric komungo and live interactive computer programs. She will interweave her performance with a lecture on the process of using software to manipulate sounds and generate visual images to accompany the music. \nThis project is funded by Arts Midwest\, Illinois Arts Council\, Driehaus Foundation\, Donnelley Foundation\, Korean Cultural Center of Chicago.
