KPAC has been hosting and organizing an annual global pungmul (Korean drumming) festival called Project  UL-SSI-GU since 2014. This event is aimed to celebrate the Liberation Day of Korea, August 15th by doing street pungmul performances around the world. Due to the COVID pandemic, the event will be held as a YouTube live streaming event on August 14. Seven groups from the US, Korea, Mexico, Malaysia, Australia, and Russia participate in the project.
